Although <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ca6.uscourts.gov\/opinions.pdf\/06a0190p-06.pdf\">the court\u2019s ruling<\/a> came in a case involving public school teachers, it conflicts with another appeals court\u2019s 2001 decision in a case involving professors at North Dakota State University, which may lead the U.S. Supreme Court to resolve the issue nationally.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Inside Higher Ed: Is Tenure Just Another Form of \u2018Wages\u2019?
