The Faculties of\u00a0 Land and Food Systems (LFS) and Forestry recognize the fundamental importance of supporting our students\u2019 growth and development as writers, researchers, and contributors to disciplinary conversations. Through this project, we will strengthen first-year students\u2019 foundation in scholarly writing and scaffold further development of writing skills throughout undergraduate curricula in our Faculties by\u00a0 i) <\/span>redesigning LFS\/FRST 150 (our multi-section first-year scholarly writing courses)<\/span> into outstanding hybrid learning experiences and ii) creating context-specific online learning modules for second-, third-, and fourth-year courses, to provide ongoing scaffolded instruction in scholarly writing and argumentation.<\/span><\/p>\r\n This project is generously funded by the UBC Teaching and Learning Enhancement Project<\/a> and the UBC Faculties of Forestry<\/a> and Land and Food Systems<\/a>.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Welcome!
