We started our first day in Stockholm in Gamla Stan, which is one is the largest and best preserved medieval city centers in Europe. This is where Stockholm was founded in 1252. We meet other groups mates at Kanslihusannexet where is a ring of buildings and a crown around an open space. The small alleyways connect surrounding with the courtyard which enhances the communal characters.
When we pass through the Parliament House, I was surprised by a new Assembly hall on the top of the bank, where it describes an arc with a board strip of windows against the sky above the waters of Riddarfjarden. There are a lot of ways to grow the old palace into vitality and how to remain the old building characters instead of destroying the relationship with the surrounding. this will be a good question many cities facing.
