As we all known, west jet and Air Canada are two biggest airplane companies in Canada. But currently, increasing number of people prefers to fly with WestJet instead of air Canada? Why did they make such a choice? What kind of benefit they could obtain from flying with WestJet?

First of all, since most of people have limited budget, when consumers plan their trip, the first thing they come up with is how to minimum the cost. If supplier could offer them the same travel experience, they would choose the less expensive one. Although two companies have discount and promotion, in my point of view,WestJet has better market strategy. Air Canada has several kind of discount to lower the price, but consumers are head to the destination directly, sometimes they need to transfer several times. However, WestJet propose a plan called WestJet Rewards, it indicate that the more you travel, the more reward you will get. This plan is quiet good incentive to encourage people fly with them more often, finally become the loyal consumers.Also,if you cancel your trip with WestJet, they save it in your account instead of return the cash to you directly.

Furthermore, WestJet provide better condition than Air Canada. If you had an experience of traveling within Canada, you will notice that WestJet always provide bigger plane with six rows , but Air Canada only offer four rows. When I and my friends travel with air Canada, it’s always feel so crowded, thus would definitely cause negative influence on the trip. Although the journey is not quiet long, more room and space could brings more enjoyment of visual feeling and make consumers more comfortable.
