There is a longstanding controversy over if the “one for one” business model is helpful for the poor and the company. Some people insist that this business model is not a good way to fight against poverty, others argue that the “one for one” business model is transmitting a kind belief. From my perspective,I agree with and support the “one for one” business model because more and more companies would be influenced by this business model to help poor people. On the one hand, the “one for one”business model inflects the business ethics of a company. This business model can help the company build a good brand image, and it cannot be denied that people prefer to cooperate with a company which owns a good heart. The “one for one” business model also attracts customers because it makes companies have a unique value proposition, and customers would feel happy after purchasing these companies’ goods because they help poor people in an indirect way.One the other hand, poor people also get benefits from this business model. Some people believe that to give anything is not a good idea to help poor people.I ,however, feel compelled to say that the poor people get what they need from the business model instead of getting nothing.I know it is not the best way to solve the poverty, but it meets poor people’s basic needs which they cannot afford.I believe that with time goes by,more and more people would pay attention to the poverty issue, and they would choose to lend a helping hand.In a conclusion, there are so many advantages of the “one for one” business model, and I think this business model would make a significant effort on solving the poverty.
