For example, I study in UBC so I would like to rent an apartment which is close to this university. An apartment near UBC is my requirement. To business, it is the same rationale. People choose a location for their enterprise because this location can satisfy their needs. Big cites provide more opportunities but also more challenges and competitions. How to make a wise decision on picking the best location will be a key problem for an entrepreneur to solve. People need to think about the rent cost, convenience, and influence and so on. Otherwise, if the company owns factories, it had better to close to them. Some people will consider that downtown is a good place to set up a company because it is the centre of the city, and so many people pass through there every day. It seems to be true. However, we cannot ignore the cost to setting up in downtown. How to choose a place in a business district in a cheaper price is needed to pay attention to.
