Hootsuite: a good way to manage my social media accounts
I knew Hootsuite from the firs class of E-marketing. HootSuite is a social media dashboard that allows you to update your WordPress, LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter account from a single application. Although I’m from mainland China, one of the few regions that Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are forbidden, I do have accounts for these social network services and VPN enables me to get access to these services.
Thanks to Julio, we are able to get the pro account for hootsuite and can enjoy the most complete function of this amazing app. After the first week of using hootsuite to manage my social media rather than through the own app or website of them, I have developed a deeper understanding of this app.
For me, the advantages of this app is obvious.
- Like other social dashboards, it can save you time and is relatively inexpensive for singular accounts, a free account can add a maximum of 3 social media profiles which is enough for most people (Facebook, twitter, Instagram).
- You can break down your social media sites in easily manageable streams. A stream is a section of your social media profile. For instance, you can see all of your Twitter mentions in one stream. You can see your scheduled posts for Facebook in another.
- The best part is you can auto schedule your posts to go out during the best times for your audience to see them.
