One of my passions is to learn different languages from around the world. I have always been amazed by the power of language – how simple words like “hello” can instantly create strong connection between people. Through social interactions, I have learned to speak a bit of Korean and Urdu. I have taken three years of French in highschool, two beginner Spanish courses, and a beginner Italian course during my undergraduate in UBC.

Work Experience

Japan: I have experience tutoring students from various English levels all the way from kindergarteners to adults. I have worked as an assistant teacher for two years with a kindergarten Saturday School program at an international school. I also have five years of teaching experience with a kindergarten Summer School program at the same international school. I have also taught elementary school children with varying English levels in afterschool language program. Lastly, i had an opportunity to teach a group of 30 students between grades one to six in a bilingual summer school program.
