My PhD thesis, completed in 2017 is titled, <a href=\"https:\/\/open.library.ubc.ca\/cIRcle\/collections\/ubctheses\/24\/items\/1.0348246\"><em>Designing technotheologies: Ethics, pedagogies, and spiritualities in maker actor-networks<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In 2004,\u00a0I completed my BMath at the <a href=\"https:\/\/uwaterloo.ca\/\">University of Waterloo<\/a>, and went on to be a University Ministry Associate and Campus Chaplain on various universities across Ontario, Canada. At the same time, I began theological\u00a0studies at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tyndale.ca\/\">Tyndale University College &amp; Seminary<\/a>, completing my Master of Divinity in 2008 with a focus on educational ministries. In 2009, I continued to pursue advanced learning in philosophy, theology, and technology at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.regent-college.edu\/\">Regent College<\/a>. My Master of Theology thesis was titled,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/connection.ebscohost.com\/c\/articles\/97196452\/technologizing-faith-ethnographic-study-internet-practices-christian-university-students-evaluated-light-work-marshall-mcluhan-albert-borgmann\"><em><span style=\"color: #333333;\">The Technologizing of Faith: An Ethnographic Study of the Internet Practices of Christian University Students Evaluated in light of the work of Marshall McLuhan and Albert<\/span><\/em><\/a><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/connection.ebscohost.com\/c\/articles\/97196452\/technologizing-faith-ethnographic-study-internet-practices-christian-university-students-evaluated-light-work-marshall-mcluhan-albert-borgmann\"><em> Borgmann<\/em><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Other research interests include:<\/p>\n<p>actor-network theory (ANT), curriculum studies research, digital literacy and curriculum, digital learning and curriculum, design based research (DBR), design studies, design and technology, educational technologies, ethics, higher education, history of education, pedagogy, philosophy, religion and technology, research design and method, science &amp; technology studies (STS) technology, STEM, technology, theology, value sensitive design (VSD)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0I am a Postdoctoral Research and Teaching Fellow in the Department of Curriculum and Pedagogy at the University of British Columbia, specializing in the area of Media &amp; Technology Studies.
