The names of stars engraved and paved into the sidewalk are a snapshot of history to remind passer-byers of small moments in the past that need to be commemorated.
This picture shows the old Orpheum theater on the right, and the modern building of the theater on the left. The two are attached, containing the Orpheum’s history in the two combined structures.
I walked by this beautiful old fence with this small stained glass mounted into it. It reminded me of old stained glass in Medieval churches. Although this may not be a direct historical object itself, it embodies a significant time in history.
