Micro-blogging in China.

I have been struggling for so long what I should write for the first one. Then I read through my classmates’ blogs to look for some ideas. I found out there is a trend of marketing related to Internet.

Since the technology is growing rapidly these days, and it continually  change the life style we used to have. Now most people are using smart phones that provide Internet access, like iPhone or Blackberry; it helps us to share or search informations anytime in anywhere. Weibo, which is Mirco-blogging in China, is somewhat like Twitter, but more than it. You can not only share your “dairy” with your smart phone with texting, imagines, music or videos with your friends, but also you will find a lot of people promoting products over Weibo. And it becomes people’s habit to check on those blogs for following the popular trends.

The reason of there are 40 people sign up for Weibo in a second is because the power of spreading of Weibo. The combination strategy of easy and quick access of it, helps Weibo booms in the Internet industry. And for sure, it helps some small business, selling fashion outfit, accessories, electronic devices, even snacks or fast food by providing a platform of advertising. Customers can also place order or leave feed back by comment. This would achieve a 24 hours communicating environment for the both side then improve the service or product. On the other hand, it’s easier for customers to knowledge the product with the help of imagines and videos without showing up at the store. It’s a new experience of online shopping and it would lead to a change again, I believe.
