As a big fan of Baidu, i used Baidu almost everyday since i got familiar with Internet. Baidu is similar with Google, it is a really useful search engine that offers many services, including a Chinese language-search engine for websites, map, audio files and images. Baidu Baike is similar with Wikipedia as an encyclopedia. People sharing messages and opinions through Baidu, so that you can get answers from it when you have questions about anything.
Although it’s quite limited now, I believe that Baidu will be successful all around the world some day in the future. Baidu appears to have far more growth potential than Google at this point and it’s very interested in increasing its share in foreign markets. To do so, the company needs to carry out a new strategy. It turns out that Baidu do have searches coming from more than 130 countries, as more Chinese people going abroad, they bring Baidu to foreign countries. Me, as an example, although i am in Canada now, and i use both Google and Baidu.
