It’s scholarship season and if you’re a penniless university student, there’s money out there to be made. There are many scholarship opportunities to be found that can help you fund your life as a student, manage your student loans or even make possible an adventure abroad. But you can’t win if you don’t apply!

Are you a student, currently enrolled in a Canadian or American University or College program? Do you have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0? Do you have a travel story to tell? Then look no further! The Flight Network is offering a one time $1,000 scholarship to someone with a travel tale to share.

All you have to do is write a short (500-1000 word) essay about a travel related experience or topic. Once you’ve polished off your piece, you can submit it online, here. Then head over to Twitter tweet a travel photo and use the hashtag #FNScholarship and mention @FlightNetwork. Next pop over to Facebook and post a travel photo using the hashtag #FNScholarship on Flight Network’s Facebook page. Get it done before the December 31st, 2015 deadline and you’ve got a chance to win. It’s that easy!

The winning essay will be featured on the Flight Network blog and the winner will walk away with a one time scholarship of $1,000.
