Because this project is entirely based on broad descriptions of the behavioral patterns of a fictional creature, assumptions were made to predict the spatial movement and congregation of zombies. In this project, zombie congregation and resistance was highly dependent on human population density and human congregation.<\/p>\n
We did not take population demographic into account. For this project, we assumed that populations were spatially mixed in all areas. The strength and speed of a zombie is dependent on the host\u2019s original physical capabilities, and therefore some zombies may be more threatening than others. However, because the human population is spatially mixed, it follows that the zombie population is also spatially mixed. <\/span><\/p>\n On our final map, there were areas of no data. We mitigated this by adding the Vancouver Mask Layer and symbolized these areas as grey.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n When inputting coordinates for layers we created, we needed 8 decimal places. Most online resources only provided 4. We added 0.00000001 to get the needed decimal places. In layers that we edited, the points were added on by address. There may have some error when doing the editing since it is hard to draw on the exact spot.<\/span><\/p>\n
