Reflection Blog – WebFolio
This is the first Website I have created. Since I haven’t done anything like this, it made the creation of it more exhilarating. A place to share my thoughts, my skills and my personality is something that sounded like a fascinating idea. As I built my site, I wanted to keep adding more, but I learned that keeping the focus on one main idea is more practical. A website that has too much would be hard on the eyes of a reader and could turn them off from browsing. Therefore, I chose to focus my site on my love for traveling and my goal to volunteer. My WebFolio will help motivate my desire to help those in need of knowledge for good oral health habits. I believe knowledge is powerful and is something that should be shared when discovered. Those who do not have access to knowledge should not be neglected. Therefore, this website allows me to educate others on my skills such as Dental Hygiene, and any other facts that I think others can benefit from.
Overall, creating this WebFolio was entertaining. It was fun exploring through the website’s template and learning how to add items to generate a personal site. As this is the first website I have built, it is definitely something I want to continue to develop and possibly create more of to express different interests.
