Hey there,
My name is Vita. I’m a third year Global Resource Systems student at the University of British Columbia. I will be spending the next year of my life studying abroad at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences in the small town of Ås, just south of Oslo.
This will be my first time living abroad and being away from home (Vancouver) for longer than two months. I’m excited and nervous at the same time – excited to travel, study, live in a new culture and meet other students – nervous to have to do it all so far away from family, friends and all that is familiar.
I don’t know about you, but when I think of Norway I think of cold weather, vikings, bread and cheese, fjords and skiing. Ask me in a few months and I bet I will have more to say! I’ll try my best to update this blog as often as I can so you can follow me on my adventures.
