This playlist walks through a series of videos from basic navigation of iBooks Author to the final publishing process, you can create your very own iBook.

As with any new software program, you will first need to get acquainted with the workspace and the different toolbars. Apple has made the user interface very easy to use. By following the steps outlined in this video you will soon be on your way to creating your very own iBook.

Initial Setup

This video introduces some of the initial setup features that one must author to give their book a unique and elegant look. It covers some basic adaptions that can be made in the project browser to give your book a distinctive look.

Adding Content

Adding content is easy with iBooks Author. There are widget placeholders that can be used, however, it can be as easy and dragging and dropping the media, word document or presentation you want to include.

3D Interactive Widget

Perhaps one of the most innovative widgets available, this widget give you the ability to embed 3D images into your iBook. The easiest way to add these images is to download Google sketch up and export your own collada files (.dae).
