Community Engagement at UBC Library

without comments

Join your colleagues in an conversation on academic libraries,  knowledge exchange and community engagement.  In this session we will discuss how the library can position itself as a valuable partner in helping UBC reach out beyond campus, as well as the opportunities for the library to develop new partnerships in the community.   Please join Simon Neame, members of the IKLBC Programming Team and others including Tara Stephens, Jessica Woolman and Shirin Eshghi for this fun discussion on community engagement work in an academic library setting.

To inspire discussion, please read  “Knowledge exchange and community engagement: an academic library perspective (Sidorko and Yang, 2011). This short article documents various community engagement initiatives developed out of the Universities of Hong Kong Libraries.
