your peers. The entire forum has been designed with participants’ needs at top of mind and sessions have been customized to address priority topics.

    INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE:
    Watersheds 2014 – Towards Watershed Governance in BC and Beyond –
    Greater Vancouver Regional Satellite Event
    Event Description: Live-streaming of the opening plenary sessions from the Watersheds 2014 Forum, along with opportunities for networking and lively discussion about watershed governance and stewardship activities in the Greater Vancouver region. This interactive session will build on recent watershed workshops hosted by the FBC in Fort Langley and New Westminster and has been made possible with funding from the Living Rivers Trust Fund.
    Hosted by: Fraser Basin Council
    Location: SFU Harbour Centre, Segal Room (1400)
    Date / Time: Monday 27 January, 2014 from 8.30am – 3.00pm. Lunch will be provided.
    Expected Participation: This satellite forum is a perfect fit for watershed groups, natural resource managers, researchers and decision-makers in all orders of government, including First Nations.
    The forum is co-presented by POLIS, UVic Geography and Brock’s Environmental Sustainability Research Centre. FBC is a project partner on the event.
    There is no cost to participate in this Satellite event, but space is limited.
