The euthanasia debate is one of the most highly divisive issues separating the practices of holistic and conventional medicine.
Did you know that last year, Canada became one of the six countries in the world to legalize euthanasia?
FoMSF UBC organised an informal debate last week to address the affects of this newly passed law,on the society.
The participants were divided into three groups representing the doctors who are in favour of euthanasia, family members of the patient requesting euthanasia, and the pro-life group against euthanasia.
The discussion brought up several abstruse topics such as, the importance of human life, and the protection of free will.
