About Me

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of the Fraser Valley.

I completed my PhD in Mathematics Education at the University of British Columbia, under the supervision of Ann Anderson and Cynthia Nicol. In May 2014, I graduated with my MSc in Mathematics at UBC, with Dragos Ghioca as my supervisor. I am currently interested in secondary and post-secondary mathematics curricula, with my mathematical interests lying in number theory and topology.

During my undergraduate studies at Florida State University, I completed an undergraduate thesis under the supervision of Ettore Aldrovandi.

In my spare time, I enjoy macrame, mixology, and any opportunity to get outside with my dog, Poppy.
