Our final assignment for the course English 419: The History of the Book was to select an item of interest from UBC’s Rare Books and Special Collections and turn into a “book blog”. Essentially, the purpose of this book blog is to make these rare and valuable items accessible to the public (i.e. you)! And to also provide you with some invaluable knowledge (have I sold you yet?) on the specifics of this particularly fascinating item.
