Session One – Coming Soon!

Session 1 will begin on Monday, October 15th. The UBC Admin team will send you a reminder to log in and download the first journal article that day. The article will be selected by the club moderator, Dr. Chester Morris, and will be a new, practice-changing article on one of the “Top 5” topics identified in the Introductory Session.

You will have six weeks to read the article, and you will receive CME credits for posting a minimum of two (2) replies or new threads per session.

About the Club

This online journal club is designed for specialists practicing in Internal Medicine. The format of a collegial journal club makes it an easy and convenient method to review recent journal articles and discuss them with a peer group. It also provides an opportunity to connect with recognized physician leaders and your colleagues on specific topics.

Quick facts about the club:

  • It runs from Fall 2012 to Spring 2013
  • It has a user-friendly platform that is accessible from any computer and anytime
  • You will achieve up to 17.0 MOC Section 1 study credits for the full series and Section 2 study credits for documenting further learning activities. Note: you must post at least two replies per journal club session to obtain maximum credits.
