Create your team now!  Submissions will include a presentation, demonstration (prototype or storyboard), video, and proposal. Judging will be based equally on originally, feasibility, potential impact, and benefit to UBC.

The orchestra Sally plays in, the VPO, is giving a concert next Saturday evening at Shaughnessy Heights United Church, on W 33^rd @ Granville. The program includes the Haydn trumpet concerto and Tchaikovsky’s 2^nd symphony. Tickets are $10 for students and you can get them on the door. It would be fabulous to see some of you there!

Please refer to MBA Integrated Foundation – Project 2 – Student Briefing before Project 2 Workshop 1 which is scheduled on Wednesday, October 17th. The first workshop will be to your great advantage if your team has pre-discussed potential new venture ideas and selected a draft idea already as there will be no time in the workshop to do idea generation.

It is crucial that you review this document very carefully as there are readings and preparation tasks that you and your team need to complete before each workshop. This is also saved in Connect > Project 2 Business Plans > Class Notes > MBA Integrated Foundation – Project 2 – Student Briefing.

Based on the feedback and questions you had on the Integrated Foundation Final exam instructions, Steve has amended what he gave out in class yesterday and included these edits in Full-time MBA Integrated Foundation Final Exam Instructions. Please note that the changes he made are included in bold and italics.

An updated version of the Operations class notes (in both pdf and doc format) has been posted on the IF Connect Operations website. This new version does not contain anything really new, it just fixes some minor typos and such, so it is not crucial to download it. Also, Tom checked the Ops homework, and you should be able to do all five problems, despite us not covering the last three pages of notes in class.
