A friendly reminder about your ePortfolio Assignment #2, and as a few of you are still experiencing some technical difficulties we’ve decided to extend the deadline to Wednesday, Sept 11th at 8:00 am.

ePortfolio Assignment #2: Industry Interest Statement

Use the Industry Research exercise from Opening Week (Monday, Aug. 23) as the research background for an ePortfolio artifact that explores a potential industry/sector that is your career target or of interest to you (<500 words)

·         What industry/sector did you choose to look at and why?

·         Why is it relevant to your career / why interesting?

·         What are 2-3 trends / pressures / changes occurring in the industry that might be relevant to what you want to do / of interest to you?

·         Cite key findings (geographic considerations, key players)

·         Where do you see yourself adding value / fitting into this industry based on what you have discovered

·         Cite your source(s)

3. Choose either Passport GMID or IbisWorld

*Note: You will only need to use your CWL for Passport GMID. However, if you are accessing these databases remotely you will need your CWL for all databases*
