Robert Macdonald (BCom’80, major in Urban Land Economics) is the founder, owner and president of Macdonald Development Corporation (MDC), a private, family-owned real estate development company based in Vancouver.

With extensive legal, financial and practical experience in the real estate field, Mr. Macdonald has been responsible for the overall vision and direction of the company since 1985. Under his leadership, MDC has created a legacy of commercial and residential properties and helped to reinvigorate communities across North America.
