Differential Calculus Resources

To be successful in MATH 105, it is important that you are comfortable with the following topics from precalculus and differential calculus:

  • trigonometric, exponential and logarithmic functions
  • graph of a continuous function
  • meaning of a function’s derivative, and the rules of differentiation (power, product, quotient and chain rule)
  • critical points and finding local/global extrema of functions

If you need to review some of these topics, there are several (free!) resources for differential calculus material listed here.
