We are interested in attending the 9th annual aboriginal math symposium!
I missed the one last year but I am making it a priority for this year. Do you know approximately when the day/workshop will be?
This year’s Symposium will be Tuesday May 14, 2019. Our theme is M in STEM: Exploring Math in all Kinds of Places. We’re hoping to have Dr. Edward Doolittle from the Mohawk Nation and mathematician at First Nation University of Canada speak as well as weaving with Anjeannette Dawson, and robotic coding. Hope you are able to attend.
More infor and registration will be coming soon.
Is there an answer key for Paul Beland- Lillooet Secondary School- Grade 8 Math- Questions … really appreciate the resources on this site
Sorry for the delay in responding Renee. I’ll check with Paul to see if he can provide some ideas for responses to his lessons.
Is there a list for people interested in the symposium this year (2020). I would like to attend and don’t want to miss the registration!
Thanks for your message.
Typically registration for the Symposium opens in February – but some years it has been earlier and some years later. I’m working on finalizing the Agenda and hope to open Registration within the next couple of weeks. So by mid-February.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or comments.
