Richmond Centre for Disability – Information Session

The Richmond Centre for Disability is hosting an information session on January 16, 2012 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm explaining their Youth Engagement & Achievement Project and their involvement in the Duke of Edinburgh Award.

Their goal is to invite more youth (with or without disabilities; from age 16 – 30) to join their Youth Group for its fun and empowering activities and courses, and to assist youth with disabilities (from age 14-25) who are interested in taking on the bronze level of the Duke of Edinburgh Award. The Duke of Edinburgh Award encourages youth to accomplish goals in several aspects, including Service, Skills, Physical Recreation and Adventurous Journey.
