At this point, I have recently completed the Bachelor of Education program at UBC, with hopes to become a high school music teacher. What I hope to bring to the profession is knowledge, life experience, some talent, but above all that, I hope to introduce students to new ways to listening to and appreciating music.

I’m the lady from EPSE432 who talked about doing a duet. In particular Bridge over Trouble water. I (finally) scanned the score and made an mp3 of my mate Walter playing it (see link below) My original idea was to harmonize with you on the melody.
But then I explored a bit in Garage band. Now I think an improvisational baritone part would be Awesome! Please check out “BoverTW_needs_baritone2.mp3”. Maybe you do/don’t like what I did – but what about the the concept of a Baritone riff with BoverTW in the background… interesting? Good luck with courses and finally, teaching!

Oh my! I can’t believe I’m only seeing this NOW!!! lol. I hope teaching has been good for you. Not sure if you’re still interested, but yeah, a duet might be a fun idea. I’m currently pursuing a masters degree in educational technology. How have you been over the past… 10 YEARS? Wow, where does the time go.
