1 This week’s cool information is a news-based website based in South Asia, specifically Bangladesh. It contains information about financial matters with a specific focus on Asia. It is a great resource for all of who are interested in learning about how commodity market patterns in US affect economies in the other part of the world. Also, it is useful to know how the other countries around the world change their policies based on the trends that they see in the US domestic commodity market. We haven’t traded in rice during the term but had we done that we would have seen more correlation between the US and Asian markets – since rice is a staple crop in that region of the world.

2 Next resource that I will be sharing this week is a website called the US commodity futures trading commission. It contains very relevant information for those students who wish to continue on after the program as professional traders. Moreover, this provides a brief history on the commission and gives a details account on rules and regulations that must be followed while trading. Another important feature of this website is the reports tab, where it provides multiple kinds of reports that are helpful for professional traders.
