A new business; an entrepreneur’s most prized possession or largest grievance. The facts do not lie: 1 in 10 new business start-ups do not make it to the stage desired.  What is the secret to being successful? In my opinion, there is no “secret” only well-thought out, well developed, and well nourished ideas that add something to society which influences consumers. This post provides new start ups with an insightful and multi-perspective outlook from those who have been successful in this area.  While many companies dive head first into this journey, few plan out the possibilities of failures and strategies to maximize success. As the article stated, “It involves constantly being in startup mode. It involves constantly thinking like a startup to cut costs, be more efficient and have every employee contribute. If you don’t think like a startup, pretty soon, a real startup will overtake you.” A statement of that magnitude envelops the idea that a business can never settle, it has to always be looking to expand, grow and become more profitable; the steps it took when it first started. Being wary of economic fluctuations and designing strategies to cut costs is the tip of the iceberg.
