This website compares nutritional information (food habits and requirements) of the eastern chipmunk, Tamias striatus to the mallard duck, Anas platyrhynchos. 

A review of academic literature was completed to make viable comparisons between the eastern chipmunk (an omnivorous mammal) and a mallard duck (an omnivorous bird) living in the same area.
