Hello! My name is Anushka and I’m currently finishing up a BSc. in Mathematics and a BA. (Minor) in Sociology from UBC Vancouver. I’m from India but I mostly grew up in Singapore. The background picture on my website is actually a view from my home! Although pursuing mathematics was not my first choice, I have grown to enjoy this field greatly, with my interests specifically lying in linear algebra and linear programming.
Currently, I’m back home in Singapore and I’m about to start an internship in digital marketing, which I hope will help bring me one step closer to getting an MBA in the future after my undergraduate degree. After graduation, I hope to be working in marketing or consulting, with a focus on the technical and scientific aspects.
Aside from my academic and professional interests, I enjoy film, music and reading. I suppose I have an eclectic taste in music – I love everything from Broadway numbers to Rex Orange County (who is my current favourite artist). I have always loved to travel and I hope that I can explore more places in the future, but unfortunately due to the pandemic and my busy schedule at university, this dream has been put on hold for the time being.
