Over the last few years, I’ve been volunteering in Dr. Patricia Schulte’s fish physiology lab and have now transitioned to working on a directed studies project. This project has examined the effect of temperature on heart rate of killifish throughout embryonic development and the role of cardiac genes throughout development.
