Jay Park (박재범) is a Korean American singer, rapper, producer, choreographer, dancer, entrepreneur, and actor from Seattle, WA. He founded the hip hop record labels AOMG and H1GHR MUSIC, which is home to popular artists such as Simon Dominic, Gray, Loco, Sik-K, GroovyRoom and more. He recently became the first Asian American artist to be signed under Roc Nation, a label founded by Jay-Z.

Discography

Jay Park’s discography consists of 4 studio albums, 5 EPs, 27 singles and more. His first solo EP, Count on Me (2010), peaked at number one on Gaon Chart. Since then, he released Take a Deeper Look (2011), New Breed Part 1 (2011), Scene Stealers (2016), and recently Ask Bout Me (2018) under his new label Roc Nation. As for studio albums, he released New Breed (2012), Evolution (2014), World Wide (2015), and Everything You Wanted (2016). All his studio albums were very popular particularly in Korea, which all charted in the top 5 at their peaks. New Breed peaked at number 1, and sold 100,000+ copies.

His biggest singles include Abandoned feat. Dok2 (2011), Joah (2012), So Good feat. Common Ground (2014), Mommae (2015), All I Wanna Do feat. Hoody, Loco (2016). Recently he has released many singles with artists from AOMG and H1GHR MUSIC, including Yacht feat. Sik-K (2017), Iffy feat. PH-1, Sik-K (2017), and Upside Down feat. Simon Dominic, Loco, Gray (2018).

Other Works

Jay Park made many television appearances in Korea. He is well known for his role in Immortal Songs, Dancing 9, SNL Korea, Unpretty Rapstar, and multiple seasons of Show Me the Money. Internationally, he’s been a judge for Asia’s Got Talent, in seasons 2 and 3.

Jay Park has done 13 concert tours in Korea and USA as a solo artist and part of the AOMG/H1GHR MUSIC group since 2010. He also took part in Ne-Yo’s Seoul concert, and many different Korean music festivals.

Jay released 4 promotional singles While Drinking Coffee (2011), Manifesto Anthem (2011), I Like it (2012), and Five Me Five (2015), for Caffe Bene, dENiZEN, Korean Food Foundation, and Mini Yo Man respectively.

Lastly, Jay is featured in many albums and singles of other artists, including nearly every member of AOMG/H1GHR MUSIC, Illionaire/Ambition artists, Higher Brothers, Hyolyn, Heize, BewhY, and many other popular hip hop/K-pop artists.
