Dear Customer, This e-mail is to notify you that there has been a Blackboard Collaborate Support Update.

Blackboard Collaborate – Web Conferencing Hosted Notifications

Subject: Important Service Notification – Web Conferencing – In Progress Service Disruption Notification

Date: Thur, Mar 14, 2013

Begin Time: 09:38 AM Eastern Time (GMT-4)

Affected Users: approximately less than 10% of sessions accessing all web conferencing services 

Details:

A network issue has been identified on the following server:

wc31.elluminate.com

Sessions connecting to this server  may receive the following error: “Connection failed. Direct call to Direct wc31.elluminate.com failed”.

This issue is affecting approximately less than 10% of sessions.

Collaborate support is currently investigating this issue.  New sessions will not be created on wc31.elluminate.com.  Users can exit the room completely and wait several minutes.  Once everyone has left the room, users can access the session link again to join a session on a new server.
