Welcome to my ETEC 565A e-portfolio. This course is taught by John Egan and “provides theoretical frameworks to assist educators in evaluating, selecting and using” various learning technologies. In it I’ll be exploring LMS frameworks such as Moodle and CMS frameworks like WP (along with a few other things along the way). There isn’t much content here yet because this course just started! If you’d like to read my thoughts and musings from ETEC 565A please visit the discussion page.
In this course we are asked to create a WordPress blog and e-portfolio containing the following elements:
1 ) A “flight path” including what we hope to learn during the course, including specific technologies we will begin to master.
2 ) A Moodle Learning Management System (LMS) online course site introductory module.
3 ) A complete exam or quiz for our LMS course site, reflecting a variety of question types and assessment strategies.
4 ) A digital story produced in a social media tool of your choice.
5 ) Your Moodle LMS online course site’s overall navigation and content module.
6 ) A final e-portfolio synthesis reflection.
Reflections on these elements will begin to appear here along with screenshots and sometimes demo elements of the objects completed.
