Who am I?
The "Intellectual" me
Hello….here is a little bit about who I am.
- math/science teacher currently teaching middle school math
- live in the little town of North Hatley, Quebec but work in Monteal. We have an apartment in Montreal and escape to the country on the weekends. Enjoying the conveniences and multiculturalism of city life.
- cross country skier, cyclist, hiker, swimmer and runner
- married with 5 children (3 girls 2 boys)….all in university getting smarter by the minute so I have to keep up. Among them we have a chemical engineer, 2 in business, a physiotherapist and one in medical school.
- empty-nester but my husband and I escaped to Montreal with new jobs when the last 2 left
- no pets…all expired around the same time as the kids left. We did have 3 dogs, 2 birds, 2 gerbils and 5 fish at one point. The last fish is living out its retirement in a grade 4 classroom in the local elementary school
- avid reader….highly recommend the Hunger Games series.
- basketball and soccer coach
- love learning new things and get a kick out of what technology can do
