National Day for Truth and Reconcilliation – September 30th
UBC Intergenerational March to commemorate Orange Shirt Day (OSD)
The Intergenerational March to commemorate Orange Shirt Day (OSD) is taking place on Tuesday, September 30th from 11:45 AM to 3:00 PM at 1956 Main Mall. This March brings together generations in a spirit of education and support for the Indigenous community at UBC and beyond. Through educational activities, younger participants will connect with the original stewards of the land and carry these conversations home, planting seeds for a deeper understanding of colonial harm that stretches from residential schools and continues today.
