Canadian migration and collaborative autoethnography research (CAMCAR) group

CAMCAR is a group of early-career migration researchers who use collaborative autoethnography to study the lived experiences of migrants in Canada.

In 2021-22, we focused on international graduate students’ experiences of university orientation, settlement and ‘integration,’ and labour. We published three papers from this research project and are currently working on a paper exploring collaborative autoethnography’s potential contributions to migration studies as a method.
