I’m Carolyn Beaumont, a 2014 MBA candidate at the Sauder School of Business at UBC. I am specializing in Consulting & Strategic Management with the aim to explore internal strategy and business development. My prior experience is in Sport & Event management with not-for-profits and I would like to transition into the professional sport industry.

However Sport is not my only career path. I am passionate about sustainability, social ventures, and creating impact in my career. I am exploring a number of industries and organizations that align with these interests.

I am forever getting involved in projects and seeking out new opportunities. Currently I am:

• MBA Games participant (Strategy case team & Floorball)
• B-clinic participant working on a Reusable Waste Stream project for Rayne Longboards

Sport and recreation industry professional with a focus on strategic planning, event management, and sport development. Experience in grant management, project coordination and creating sustainable growth. Interested in leadership, capacity building and sustainability. Passionate about the Olympic Movement and the benefits of sport as a vehicle for community development.
