dreams

I had a dream that I went back to Busolwe Hospital to visit, and I almost cried in my dream. I forgot how skinny the children were, how much need there is for doctors, teachers, money, and resources. I didn’t allow myself to see it that way when I was on the placement, to be ethical, but now that I am back home and so pampered by life here, it’s even more heartwrenching to remember what the reality looks like there. Global inequality really, really bothers me.
