Water

Urban water systems include conveyance systems of clean (i.e. potable) water, conveyance systems of waste water, and stormwater management systems. The ecosystem approach to urban water system design and operations calls on engineers to provide these water services while simultaneously maintaining or improving the natural balance of water cycles in ecosystems impacted by urban development.
