Larger planes = increase in costs. People flying short haul flights will not be as willing to pay more just for more leg room = revenue down

A bigger plane would obviously cost more, either for the carrier or customer. But bigger plane is probably better for a longer flight

Cost: Largest plane will cost higher but might not be fully utilized every time because airlines might not be able to fill all the planes.

More leg space would probably result in higher plane ticket costs and many people would opt for the cheaper seats.
