Bigger planes mean more cost. Also, Airline company needs to take the risk of empty seats while the fuel expense is much higher per flight.

People aren’t concerned so much with extra leg room as their costs of flying.

Larger planes = increase in costs. People flying short haul flights will not be as willing to pay more just for more leg room = revenue down

A bigger plane would obviously cost more, either for the carrier or customer. But bigger plane is probably better for a longer flight

Companies have to take into consideration the costs of training & hiring new pilot. Long distance route should be guaranteed to earn profit.

Cost: Largest plane will cost higher but might not be fully utilized every time because airlines might not be able to fill all the planes.

More leg space would probably result in higher plane ticket costs and many people would opt for the cheaper seats.
