Bigger planes will have more people, the service will not be as good as in small planes. Also, if you want bigger space, it will cost more.

Bigger planes would mean increased costs. The increase in ticket prices would not be one that customers would be willing to pay for.

Airlines would want to maximize the amount of passengers that they can fit into one plane = less room/person. Small planes also cost less.
