Class 9 Oct 5: Team Formation

I. PREPARATION

Before class please prepare the following:

  1. We will be forming teams for Assignments 2 and 3.
  2. We will continue and complete our discussion from Monday about the research that you did for your Social Problem Situational Analyses.  Please come to class prepared to discuss your topic for Assignment 1.  You will be asked to describe the social problem you researched and what surprised you in your research (please describe in 60 seconds).  This is an important exercise that will be essential to forming the teams for the next two projects, and is an excellent opportunity for participation.
  3. Please read “A Brief Introduction for Critical Systems Heuristics”, Werner.  (This reading can be accessed on the Library Online Course Reserves via Canvas.)
  4. Please start the prep for Class 9.  There are a lot of readings for this class and I strongly recommend that you get a head start on those readings.

Note: There is no pre-assessment for this class.
