In your second blog post, summarize a social media controversy or phenomenon and take a position on the specific role that social media played in the events you describe. In taking a position, reflect on the relationship between media technology and human relationships by responding to one of the following questions:
Does social media simply reveal a social dynamic that already existed among those implicated in the controversy?
Does it magnify already existing dynamics in any way and if so, to what specific extent?
Does it create a new social dynamic where none existed before? And if so, how can you be certain of this “newness?”
