Connected North is a website that connects to the North with virtual field trips, cultural exchange, and virtual career fairs. This can help Indigenous youth who may live in remote areas have access to tools and experiences they may not be able to otherwise. It helps to connect school groups across Canada as well.
This really showcases the positive impact fields trips have. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing! Here are a few other companies that can have virtual field trips that are free, Explore By the Seat of your Pants. I know they just hosted a special event for Chanie Wenjack week. EBSOYP is a great platform to speak with scientists and explorers. These sessions are always accessible via their YouTube Channel https://www.exploringbytheseat.com/ Another virtual trip in BC is Live it! They will have sessions from different Indigenous communities from BC or Northern Canada.
TakingITGlobal also focusing on Indigenous communities in the north. I hope these help. Thanks again.
Thank you Paula and Kayli-Shandra for these amazing resources!
